Course Description:

Compared to Introduction to Biblical Hebrew in the first semester, Hebrew I is the beginning of the full language approach to the subject. Students will complete more writing and translation exercises, as well as systematically increase their vocabulary. Weekly homework because practice makes perfect. Vocabulary quizzes will help us stay diligent. You will like Hebrew! (Not a promise, just a frequent comment by student.)

Since we desire to pursue a pace that is both attainable and challenging for working folks, we will cover as much of the first six chapters as we can. For those who take this course as a refresher, this is a great way to jumpstart your review, whether or not you continue on to Hebrew II.
